Ross Urquhart, RPM

Ross Urquhart is managing director of brand experience consultancy, RPM.

RPM specialises in marketing to people’s emotions, using engaging face-to-face and visual experiences.  Named “Field Marketing Agency of the Year” by Marketing magazine twice in the last three years (2001 and 2003), RPM has played a pioneering role in raising the profile of brand experience over the last 2-3 years.   The agency has created some of the
most high profile UK brand experiences of recent years, including The Strongbow Rooms, the Olivio “Al Fresco” experience, “Walls’ Beach” and the National Lottery “Fun Fest” events.

Ross is a passionate believer in the value of brand experience in the marketing mix. He has specialist expertise in the retail environment, where RPM works with brands such as Marks & Spencer Foods and adidas.

Prior to setting up RPM in 1993, Ross worked for sales promotion agency ZGC, where his clients included The Daily Telegraph and the BBC.
